Hang It Perfect Packaging

The Objective: To create a brand and packaging that simply communicates a complex product. Crescent added the Hang It Perfect to their product line and our challenge was to rebrand and repackage the product to improve distribution, placement opportunities and sales. 

The CDC Solution: We used bold graphics, icons and text to simply tell the product story. “Simply Hang Everything” was combined with the “First Time Every Time” tag line to highlight the benefits of the product over similar products. We also identified quick steps to emphasis the ease of use for the tool.  Project examples were illustrated to simplify the visuals on the package. 

The Results: The distributors and retailers have added the line and have given the product preferred point of purchase.  Sales have been strong and Crescent continues to add retailers and distributors.

HANG IT PERFECT BRANDING

When developing the brand for the Hang It Perfect tool we considered research that indicated the tool would be used by both men and women. We selected a bold and approachable font and color palette. We created an illustration of the product to visually communicate how the product is used. We included the built in level and adjustable measurement arms in the illustration which are key benefits to the product function. 

The “First Time Every Time” tag line highlights the benefits of the product over similar products. The perfect alignment of all of the brand components represents how the product works the first time and every time.

In order to develop ads for the Hang It Perfect tool, we first experimented with the product to understand the most compelling benefits of the product. We showed how hanging multiple pieces of art makes this tool invaluable and adding a happy customer using the tool communicated how light and easy the product is to use.
